Relax and Beauty Care with Our Spa
body massage
Vietnamese massage
Traditional Vietnamese massage features deep, soothing techniques using oil, including rubbing, pressing, and acupressure. At Mana Spa, clients can choose between freshly prepared coconut oil or a blend of aromatic massage oils. Our staff is ready to help communicate your preferences to the therapists, whether you want a vigorous back massage or a gentler touch for your legs.
Massage with aloe vera
The Aloe vera treatment at Mana Spa goes beyond a simple wrap, featuring a traditional Vietnamese body massage with natural aloe vera juice instead of oils. While the massage is gentle due to the gel-like consistency, it soothes and hydrates the skin, relieving sunburns. This treatment also includes an aloe facial mask, making it a refreshing choice for guests, as the aloe juice is wet and cool.
Hot stone massage
It starts as a Vietnamese massage while the stones are warmed up. When the temperature of the stones is right, the massage therapist uses the rocks in massage movements. This deep and relaxing massage helps to open pores, let excess water leave your body and has a strong lymphatic drainage effect.
Herbal massage
It starts as a Vietnamese massage while the herbal pouches are warmed up. When the temperature of the herbal pouches is right, the therapist uses them to massage along your spine and joints, relieving muscle, joint, and spine pain as well as combining aromatherapy with a light skin exfoliation.
Thai massage
Thai massage is frequently referred to as Yoga for those who prefer a more relaxed approach. During the session, your massage therapist will guide you into various postures, while your role is to trust her and relax your body. This form of massage is beneficial for maintaining the health of your muscles, joints, and spine.
Slimming massage
This massage is an anticellulite treatment, which should also include a balanced diet and regular exercise. This massage technique targets several factors that lead to cellulite, such as toxin buildup, poor circulation, and fluid retention. In a one-hour session, we use hot ginger oil and make sure that the massage therapists are aware of the specific areas of your body that need the most attention.
Sport massage
This massage uses a combination of Vietnamese and Thai massage techniques with acupressure to relieve muscle tension after intense training. Our therapists, trained at the Traditional Medicine Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, will use deep pressure, possibly with elbows, feet, or acupressure tools. Kindly inform the manager if you wish to avoid these methods.
LomiLomi massage
In Hawaiian, the word Lomilomi means “the touch of a contented cat’s paws.” During a Lomilomi session, your massage therapist uses flowing movements mainly with their forearms, surrounding you with a calming aromatic oil treatment. Traditionally, Lomilomi is performed for therapeutic purposes, especially when important decisions need to be made or before a wedding ceremony.
Abhyanga + Shirodhara
Abhyanga, or “body massage”, is a relaxing and detoxifying treatment featuring a gentle oil bath and light massage. It is often followed by Shirodhara, where warm coconut oil is poured onto the third eye, stimulating the pineal gland and promoting happiness-related hormones. Shirodhara helps with insomnia, hypertension, asthma, and can reduce facial wrinkles. It can be added to any massage at Botanica Spa for an extra 500,000 VND for 30 minutes.
Body treatments
Coffee scrub
Coffee scrub does wonders for tired skin. It deeply nourishes the skin, improves and brightens skin tone, while effectively exfoliating dead skin cells. Many cosmetic brands use coffee’s ability to break down fat in the deeper layers of the skin, making coffee scrub a perfect addition to anticellulite slimming massages.
Rice bran scrub
For centuries, Japanese geisha have used rice bran to maintain soft, moisturized, and radiant skin. When mixed with a small amount of milk and applied to the skin, it provides a subtle fragrance, a lively glow, and a smooth texture.
Sea salt scrub
The exfoliating benefits of the sea salt scrub efficiently eliminate dead skin cells, revealing a brighter and healthier skin tone.
Aloe and coconut after-sun wrap
We use a mix of fresh aloe leaf juice and coconut meat which both relieve sunburns and moisturise your skin. While your skin is absorbing all the needed minerals, you get a light head and foot massage.
